Celebrating my 6 year "Stellaversary" as a Stella & Dot Stylist

Warning: long, reflective and proud post ahead. :) On Saturday, April 16, I was too busy soaking up a great Stella & Dot bootcamp/training and hanging out with friends that I forgot to share that it was my 6 year anniversary with Stella & Dot -- my Stellaversary!

Six years, y'all. That in and of itself is quite an accomplishment for me and my career. (Most people bounce around jobs every 2-3 years... and I personally did not stay at a job longer than 3ish years... unless you count babysitting, which I have been consistently doing for the last 15 years, ha! ;))

Over six years ago, I fell in love with the Charlize Teadrop Earrings I had seen on Jillian Harris when she was a guest on Extreme Makeover Home Edition! (She'd also worn quite a few pieces of Stella & Dot jewelry while she was on The Bachelorette, too, that I loved!) I had to see it all in person, so I hosted a trunk show... and because of that, I loved shopping with a fabulous discount and I had to have more! At first, it was all about getting more jewelry. I had no idea what I was doing, just finished graduate school and was working full-time in marketing (with a not-so-shopping-friendly income)... but I loved fashion (and dreamed of working in the industry) and wanted to earn a little extra money!

Truly, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made -- I jumped in and never looked back! Fast forward to three years after starting with Stella & Dot... I was depressed, feeling unfilled in my workplace and wasn't loving who I was as a person. But Stella & Dot was my happy place. My supportive family and friends encouraged me to follow my heart and my passion, and so I quit my "desk job" to really give this a go! It's been 3+ years since I made that leap, and I'm proud to say that I work full time for myself, as Stella & Dot Stylist, alongside various fun and rewarding part-time gigs!

In the last 6 years... I have:

• Purchased and paid off a new car
• Earned 4 all-expense paid incentive trips (to the Atlantis - Bahamas, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Puta Cana, Dominican Republic, and Montego Bay, Jamaica... next stop, half way to earning Costa Rica!)
• Promoted myself to 5 career ranks
• Received company-coveted accolades, such as Style Council and Style Council Elite
• Traveled to San Francisco, Napa Valley, Las Vegas and Orlando "for work"
• Styled ladies who were on The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and Bachelor Pad
• Shopped THOUSANDS of DOLLARS in FREE product for myself
• Blogged over 200 posts of our gorgeous accessories as seen on TV shows, celebrities, in magazines and more
• Grown a team of 100+ incredible business partners across the US and in Canada
• Been given the opportunity to make 3000+ women to feel fabulous with at least one accessory (or lots of accessories ;))... along with a few good men who've purchased a piece to make their ladies feel special!
• And so much more.

Oh, and just this week, I earned myself one of Stella & Dot's FIRST EVER diamond necklaces, which are coming later this fall - so exciting!

But... I feel like the best (and most important!) thing I have received from Stella & Dot is the friendship and support of an amazing group of women, who I have grown to love and lean on! Beyond the business and the trunk shows, I have a support system that can rival any other sisterhood (just as much as my sorority sisters -- and a few have also joined me in on the fun!). They have been the "framily" that I never knew I needed. That in itself is worth joining us.

My passion for making women feel great in their own skin hasn't changed... but now, I realize that this business has been life-changing for me. I have a dream job, and I can't keep it to myself - this should be shared with others! I'm special... but not that special... anyone can do this! Yes - anyone. Even you. :) So many more lives can be touched by this opportunity -- and it's my new passion to help others find their joy and their own successes. Shipping Update for Stella & Dot's EU Stylists

Stella & Dot is thrilled to share that our European Union Stylists (those located and working in the UK, Germany, France and Ireland) will now be able to ship to 12 additional countries in the EU, allowing them 100 million potential new customers!

This announcement is monumental for our sister Stylists in the UK, Ireland, Germany and France as they are now able to ship to many of their neighboring countries. This is truly incredible - imagine as a Canadian or US Stylist not being able to sell to your friends and family in a neighboring state/province!

These additional shipping countries include:

• Austria 
• Belgium 
• Finland 
• Italy 
• Luxembourg 
• Netherlands 
• Portugal 
• Spain 
• Poland 
• Czech Republic 
• Denmark 
• Sweden 

While cross-border shipping is effective as of March 12th, it is still in the launch phase and a few kinks will need to be worked out. While the hope is that this will be a possibility for the North American Stylists one day, there are a number of laws and regulations impacting cross-border shipping to work through.

While shipping is now a possibility in these countries, this is only available to EU Stylists who can sign up in the UK, Germany, France and Ireland.

Stella & Dot in Germany - October Multi-City Tour

The Stella & Dot German team is doing a multi-city MSD tour next week throughout Germany with Mike Lohner and Sabine Schropp, Associate Director, to introduce more fabulous women across Germany to the Stella & Dot opportunity and brand. If you - or someone you know - happen to know any expats living in Germany or have German friends in Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg or Cologne/Duesseldorf – please share this information with them! Below you can find individual city invites with locations, times and dates as well as information regarding our sign up special in Germany this month! It is really the perfect time to join!

Tour dates:

wir werden wir im Oktober eine Training Tour durch Deutschland machen. Ihr findet die jeweiligen Einladungen sowie eine Übersicht aller MSDs im Anhang. Diese Events eignen sich optimal dafür die Marke Stella & Dot kennen zu lernen, die unwiderstehlichen Schmuck und Accessoires an-und auszuprobieren und alles über die Möglichkeit zu erfahren Stella & Dot Stylist zu werden. Nicht vergessen, das Sign up Special aus September wurde bis zum 30. Oktober verlängert. Im Anhang findet hier auch nochmal das Angebot.

Bitte teilt die Bilder über Euer Facebook, schickt die Einladung an Interessenten per E-Mail oder druckt sie auch gerne aus. Wenn Ihr an dem Event teilnehmen könnt und noch Gäste mitbringt, schreibt uns bitte kurz eine E-Mail an fielddevde@stelladot.com mit der Personenanzahl. Dies gilt lediglich als Hilfe zur besseren Planung ist aber nicht zwingend erforderlich und Spontanentschlossene sind immer herzlich willkommen. Die Meet Stella & Dot Events findet jeweils um 19.00 Uhr statt. Ausnahme ist in Köln, wo das Event bereits um 14.00 Uhr beginnt.

Der weitere Ablauf ist wie folgt:

19.00 Uhr Meet Stella & Dot mit Mike Lohner
19.30 Uhr Mike erzählt etwas zur Geschichte von Stella & Dot und die Möglichkeiten Stylist zu werden
20.00 Uhr -21.00 Uhr Stylisten Training mit Associate Director Sabine Schropp (potenzielle Stylisten haben hier auch die Möglichkeit teilzunehmen)

Wie Ihr seht findet direkt im Anschluss das Training mit Sabine Schropp statt. Dies ist Eure Möglichkeit mehr über die Grundprinzipien Verkaufen, Buchen und Sponsern  zu erfahren. Ihr solltet Euch diese einmalige Möglichkeit nicht entgehen lassen. Sabine wird von Ihrer Geschichte erzählen und Ihr werdet erfahren wie Sie es bereits zum Associate Director geschafft hat.

Stella & Dot expands to Puerto Rico!

I'm excited to announce that Stella & Dot is now available to purchase in and ship to Puerto Rico. Women who live in Puerto Rico can also take advantage of our amazing Stylist Opportunity and start styling their own lives!


In addition to expanding the US territories, our international opportunity is huge, and we are only just getting started. Women in the US, Canada, the UK and now Germany all have the opportunity to style their own lives with Stella & Dot.
