The funds generated from this partnership have helped fund RJ’s Places in children’s hospitals and autism centers across the U.S. and Canada. RJ’s Places provides technology for children living with autism and to create a refuge for siblings who must accompany their brother or sister to treatment. 

As the HollyRod Foundation enters a new chapter, our donations will help support their Los Angeles flagship RJ’s Place focused on family support services and vocational training for adults on the spectrum entering the workforce like Holly’s son RJ who works for the LA Dodgers. Additionally, HollyRod will work in collaboration with previous grantees to share best practices and bring resources based on the collective of their strengths.

Update: 4/3/18 - Yesterday was World Autism Day -- so I want to share our progress towards selling 100 Unity bracelets with 100% proceeds to HollyRod Foundation! 14 down, 86 to go!

Update: 4/18/18 - THANK YOU to everyone who has purchased one so far! I've sold 28 bracelets, and still, have 72 to go! We got this!

Why 100? 100 bracelets sold is enough to cover all-in-one computer + software as well as pre-vocational training for teens and young adults living with autism.

They are definitely selling quickly so if you want to support HollyRod while sporting something pretty darn cute (also makes a great teacher to teenage or little girl gift -- it is very adjustable!)

It's that time of year... April is here - and so is Autism Awareness Month! For the fourth year in a row, Stella & Dot is partnering with the HollyRod Foundation for a unique "shop for a cause" boutique.

The HollyRod Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate care to those living with autism. They seek to fill an unmet need by providing compassionate care and services to underserved individuals and families that are burdened financially and emotionally by a diagnosis.

Stella & Dot has added a new Autism Awareness bracelet to the benefit the HollyRod Foundation this year, the Melody Bracelet! This piece is a "melody" of colorful beads stacked against the vintage gold in our favorite wishing bracelet silhouette.

Additionally, we'll continue with our best-selling Wishing Bracelet, the Harmony Bracelet, in a colorful pave. In "harmony", our voices become one. Rainbows are said to be a perfect balance of promise, beauty, and enlightenment -- and the different colors represent those on various points of the autism spectrum.

Since partnering with the HollyRod Foundation in 2013, we have donated over $390,000! The funds generated from this collaboration helped to support various autism summer camps, social skills and adolescent prevocational programs around the US and Canada. We have been able to grant more than 100 tablets to non-verbal children with autism giving them the “Gift of Voice.” 

Due to the success of our 2014-2016 campaigns, we have also helped fund 13 new RJ’s Places in children’s hospitals and autism centers across the U.S. and Canada that provide technology for children living with autism and to create a refuge for siblings who must accompany their brother or sister to treatment.
